Lesson Ten - Art and TED

Why I chose this video? So, the main reason why I chose this video is that I’m interested in photography. I find this video is really thought-provoking, touching and moving. Most of the photos which presenter shown us full of different feelings, for instance, some of them illustrates pain and violence, fear and struggle, some of others- happiness of meeting, human strength, and so on. I believe that person can change his thoughts, style of life,etc. after looking photos like these. These pictures affect a world history. As for me, it’s very difficult to watch on these photos not to cry.

1)      Do you find photos which were shown impressive? What emotions or thoughts do they evoke in you?

LinguaLeo is really cool website. It is fun and easy way to learn English language. You can learn English by playing. Also you can find movies, books, audio books, songs and something like that in English. It’s unbelievable! This site is full of phrasal verbs, useful words and explanation of tenses…  Moreover, you can choose the course which you wanted and begin to learn it. For instance, it can be “English for tourists”, “Business English”, “Spoken English”, etc.  Also LinguaLeo is a chance to practice your vocabulary in different ways and to practice your listening skills.

Use it and you’ll never regret about it! :) Your English will be better!

Hey, this is my page, so I have to say something about myself. Sometimes it is hard to introduce yourself because you know yourself so well that you do not know where to start with. I'll try to do it.
My name is Julia. I'm 19 years old. I'm learning foreign languages at university and I really like it.
I'm a person who is positive about every aspect of life. Also I'm very socaible and easy-going.  I like  meeting new people.
I'm intrested in photography. I enjoy taking pictures. Unfortunately, because of university I haven't enough time on my favourite hobby. Besides of this I like drawing. I believe I'm creaitive personality.
In the future I want to achieve my goals and engage in charity.
